This June, the CORE is proud to support Women In Need Society (WINS) to shine a light on the incredible work being done for women and their families right here in Calgary.
Visit the WINS display on Level 2 of the CORE Shopping Centre from June 1 to 5, 2026 and step into a living space that tells a powerful story. See firsthand how gently used donations and contributions of everyday essentials become resources that help women move from surviving to thriving and discover how even a small act of generosity can make a real difference.
What to expect:
- Learn about the impact WINS has through their programs and services.
- Discover how WINS stores are platforms for sustainability, community support, and employment training opportunities.
- Drop off donated essentials at the on-site collection point*
- CORE Gift Card Giveaway
Donation Drive:
The donation drive hosted during the event will accept everyday essentials that go directly toward supporting women and their families in need:
- Diapers and baby wipes
- Gently used clothing and shoes
- Non-perishable food items
- New hygiene products
- Transit tickets
* Note, donations can only be accepted when WINS representatives are on site (11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. daily).
Financial donations will also be accepted via QR code to support WINS programs and services.
WINS representatives will be on site daily from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Stop by to chat, ask questions, and learn more about the impact WINS makes in our community every day.
CORE Gift Card Giveaway:
Give back and be entered for the chance to WIN a $250 CORE Gift Card! Stop by the WINS display daily from June 1 to June 5, between 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., while the WINS team is onsite and donate an everyday essential item, or make a monetary donation using the QR codes at the display to be entered into the draw.*
Winner will be selected and contacted on Monday, June 8, 2026.
