The CORE is Calgary’s only downtown shopping centre located in the heart of the corporate, legal and financial districts.
A mix-used property, the CORE is connected to three major office towers (TD Canada Trust, Home Oil Tower and Dome Tower) and the historic Lancaster building. It is also part of the Plus 15 pedway system connecting buildings to neighbouring retail complexes Bankers Hall and Stephen Avenue Place. This walkway also connects to surrounding office tower buildings with over 16 kilometers of passageways and 59 bridges allowing direct, indoor access.
Easily accessible by transit as it sits parallel to the 7th Avenue Light Rail Transit corridor and is connected to the Southwest, Northwest and Northeast Lines. With two parkades; the CORE Parkade is located on 4th Street between 7 and 8 Avenue SW and the Holt Renfrew Parkade located on 8 Avenue between 4 and 5 Street SW.
The CORE boasts over 610,000 square feet of retail, anchored by two iconic Canadian brands; Holt Renfrew and Simons. It also boasts a bright top-floor Food Court and is home to the Devonian Gardens, a 2.5 acre indoor botanical garden.
