Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids (BB4CK) is returning to the CORE for Brown Bagging it Month! This May we are coming together to raise awareness about food insecurity and its impact on kids and families here in Calgary. This year’s theme is Powered by Care, a reminder that every small action taken together creates meaningful change for kids.

Stop by the This Is What Care Looks Like activation from May 11 to 31. Learn how BB4CK supports thousands of Calgary kids every school day and find out how your care can help power a nutritious lunch for a child in our community!

Here’s how you can get involved:

• Join us for the fun, family-friendly “Mirror Me” game and activities during lunch hours on select days*
• Meet BB4CK volunteers and discover how you can make a difference
• Donate to the BB4CK snack drive in support of BB4CK’s School Lunch Program on select days until May 28*
• Snap a photo at the display and tag @bb4ck and @coreshopping to help us spread awareness

Brown Bagging for Calgary's Kids is a local organization dedicated to ensuring every child in our community has access to a nutritious lunch at school. Through the support of volunteers, donors, and community partners, BB4CK provides close to 8,000 kids’ lunches to over 280 schools across the city every single school day.
